One of Atlanta's best kept secrets, historic Adair Park is an affordable Southwest neighborhood is less than three miles from Downtown Atlanta, the Georgia Dome and Turner Field. Packed with charm and personality, the curving, tree-lined streets are filled with 1920s Craftsman bungalows, Folk Victorian and Revival Tudor style homes. With two large parks and an active Adair Park neighborhood association, this active neighborhood is an excellent choice for investors and first-time home buyers.
This upscale Midtown Atlanta neighborhood features some of Atlanta’s most beautiful historic homes. Homes for sale in Brookwood HillsLocated south of Buckhead, this upscale "Intown Atlanta" neighborhood is truly a hidden gem. There are only three entrances to the Brookwood community, all are just off of Peachtree Road. The center of the neighborhood is the Brookwood Hills Community Club, with a beautiful park and pool. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the stunning home styles are primarily Classic Traditional, Tudor Revival, and Craftsman-style bungalow homes. Cabbagetown real estate, Atlanta beltlineOut of all the neighborhoods along the Beltline, we would name Cabbagetown the winner for the most eclectic charm and personality. We could try to explain it, but you would just have to visit a few festivals or have a leisurely dinner on Carroll Street to really soak up the vibe of the neighborhood. CAPITAL VIEW - ATLANTA
Located just south of Turner Field (on the west side of the interstate), Capitol View only about 3 miles from Five Points in Downtown Atlanta. This neighborhood is rich in history and was established in 1908 by the Capital View Baptist Church. The tree-lined streets are filled with Craftsman Bungalows and Country-style Victorian homes that are in various stages of renovation. CAPITAL VIEW MANOR

Developed in the 1920s and 1930s, Grove Park is on the western edge of the Atlanta Beltline, west of Midtown Atlanta and Georgia Tech. With home prices in the $50K to $200K price range, real estate investors are flocking to this area, especially near the future site of Westside Park.
HIGH POINT ESTATES
Located near Sylvan Hills and Capital View Manor, this up and coming Beltline neighborhood is just south of Grant Park (zip code 30315). Now that the Beltline Project is underway, High Point Estates is sure to see some improvements in home values.
Located northwest of Downtown Atlanta, the Howell Station Historic District is located in what many now consider "West Midtown." Located two miles east of downtown, Historic Inman Park is Atlanta’s first planned community and one of the nation’s first garden suburbs. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There are now over 300 homes in various stages of restoration or renovation in Inman Park. Each year Inman Park welcomes its neighbors to the Spring Festival and Tour of Homes, drawing in thousands of visitors to the neighborhood. Inman Park takes pride in its characterization as a “Small-Town Downtown,” combining the desirable elements of small town living with a dedication to the growth of the inner city.
LITTLE FIVE POINTS
Named after the "five points" intersection between Moreland, Euclid, and McLendon. Little Five Points is Atlanta's example of eclectic dining, shopping and artistic creativity, reminiscent of New York's Greenwich Village or Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Many older buildings in L5P are being converted into lofts and condos, with a variety of bungalow and Victorian style homes line the streets in neighboring communities such as Candler and Inman Park.
For those who work outside the city, easy access to all major thoroughfares and expressways (1-75 and 1-85) is a big plus for young professionals who want to be close to their office.
The location of this Intown Atlanta neighborhood is primo! Mechanicsville is bounded by Downtown Atlanta, Peoplestown, Turner Field, and the Southern Railway. Established in the late 1800s, Mechanicsville is one of Atlanta's oldest neighborhoods and is rich with personality and charm.
Just north of downtown is the city's cultural center and sanctuary for the alternative lifestyle crowd, singles and young professionals. Midtown is aptly named due to its location, being the midpoint between Downtown and Buckhead. This charming area is full of old, refurbished homes, loft and warehouse apartments and condos. Lacking the large rolling lawns and mansions of Buckhead, Midtown has its own special appeal.
This historic neighborhood was one of Atlanta's first 'suburbs' where commuters traveled by streetcar. While Morningside isn't an official Beltline neighborhood, a large percentage of the residents are able to easily walk to the Beltline trail in Piedmont Park.
Historic Mozley Park is primarily a residential neighborhood and is quite similar to its neighbor, the Historic West End. Most of the 1920s bungalows and 1930s-1940s cottages are still intact, with only a handful that have been fully restored. This affordable beltline community is home to long-time residents, first-time buyers and also students that attend Georgia State or Clark Atlanta Univerity (just down the street!).
Located Southwest of Historic West End and Adair Park, Oakland City is filled with 1920s bungalows, Tudor homes and Craftsman style homes. Like many of the 'up and coming' neighborhoods, the Beltline project is sure to help bring real estate investors and new residents to Oakland City.
OLD FOURTH WARD

It was originally settled after the American Civil War, mainly by freed slaves who were employed by the railroad. Today the neighborhood is rapidly gentrifying and attracting many back to the neighborhood. Flat Shoals Avenue cuts diagonally across the district from northwest to southeast. The older section is west of the rail right of way planned for the Beltline. There are many different home styles including an entire block of double shotgun houses on Chester Avenue. Reynoldstown is a Historic District.
