The 5K Race starts at 8 AM on Saturday and is now an official AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier. All participants also receive a 2017 Summerfest t-shirt. At 9:15 AM, the Tot Trot begins on the lawn on John Howell Park and kids under 7 are able to run, walk (or crawl) to the finish line! Each child participating in the Tot Trot receives a t-shirt and ribbon.
The Virginia Highland 5K Race tends to sell out, so register asap at active.com. For the Tot Trot, you can register at the park on the day of the race.
Summerfest always has the best artists market! You’ll find everything from painting to textiles, photography, wood, jewelry and mixed media. It is a juried event, featuring the original artwork of 250+ artists from all over the Southeast.
