The Spring Fling in Kirkwood gets bigger and better every year and we are so excited about this year’s line up of music and homes that are on the tour!

The festival is on Saturday, May 16th in Bessie Branham Park (about 1 – 2 blocks away from Downtown Kirkwood) and the Tour of Homes runs all weekend.

Here’s the full line up of events and activities:

5K Road Race

The 5K fun run kicks off the festival at 8:30 am on May 20th at the Kirkwood library (Hosea Williams Drive and Kirkwood Road). Pets and strollers are welcome as you run / walk by all the historic homes and tree-lined streets of this oh-so-charming Intown neighborhood. Sign up here for the Kirkwood Spring Fling race.

Spring Fling Festival

The 5K race ends at Bessie Branham Park and the Fling begins!  From 10 am to 8 pm, you’ll be able to stroll down Kirkwood Rd, Norwood, and Ridgedale Road and view all the local artisans and restaurants.  Live music and the kids’ area are all happening in the center of the park, so once you’re done browsing, you can wander into the park.

ATL Wing Fling

This year the BBQ Cook-Off will be replaced by the “Best of ATL Wing Fling Competition!” Public tasting begins Saturday at 12:30 pm and costs $5 for 6 wing tickets.  A People’s Choice champion will be named, based on voting from our general public participants, but there will also be a judges’ panel who will select winners based on several flavor categories.  Learn more about this competition.

Music Line Up at the K’wood Fling…

The main stage is on the Bessie Branham lawn and live music starts at 11 a.m!  This year, they’ll have a mix of bluegrass, soul, indie rock and more.   See the full line up for 2020:
