Located in the Buckhead’s Peachtree Battle community, E. Rivers Elementary is one of Atlanta’s top elementary schools and serves the South Buckhead neighborhoods of Brookwood Hills, Collier Hills, Loring Heights, Peachtree Hills, Colonial Homes, Ardmore Park, and Underwood Hills.

Founded in 1917, E. Rivers Elementary is one of Atlanta’s oldest schools and has produced quite a list of distinguished and highly successful alumni. Currently, there are almost 600 students in this K-5 elementary school and the student to teacher ratio is quite good at 21 students to each teacher.

Like many Atlanta public schools, parental and community involvement is critical to the success of a school — and E Rivers has it covered. State test scores are high and as many of the other Buckhead elementary schools, E. Rivers is also part of the International Baccalaureate program.

E. Rivers Elementary students go on to attend Sutton Middle School and North Atlanta High School.
