Winnona Park was named in the National Register of Historic Homes registry in 2002, the government’s official roster of “historic buildings, structures, sites, objects, and districts worthy of preservation.” There are no restrictions around renovation or modification of homes in this area; however, preserving the homes historic values and character is most definitely preferred.
