Our favorite Halloween event is almost here!
DATE: Saturday, October 26, 2019
TIME: 5:00 to 10:00 PM
EAV-o-WEEN is sponsored by the East Atlanta Community Association and includes a Halloween costume parade, a spooky movie, and trick or treating with many of the local businesses in the East Atlanta Village.
To ensure that the kids can run freely while they are trick-or-treating, several streets will be closed in the Village. This year, Flat Shoals will be closed from Metropolitan to May Avenue. Glenwood Avenue, from Haas to Joseph will also be closed from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
EAV-O-WEEN ACTIVITIES
Costume Parade
The parade begins in the lot by Argosy at 5:15 PM and ends at the intersection of Flat Shoals and Glenwood.
NOTE: If there are any kids in need of Halloween costumes, the EACA Costume Boutique will be open in the Argosy Lot from 12- 5pm on the 26th. If there are children that need larger costume sizes, please email education@eaca.net with costume preference and size needed.
Trick-or-Treating
Right after the parade, all the goblins and ghouls can start visiting the local businesses to get their treats!
*** Please be sure to stop by the Urban Nest office (next to Joe’s Coffee). We’ll have a barrel of yummy treats for the kiddos!
Spooooky Halloween Movie
At 8:30 PM, there will be a bonfire and movie in the East Atlanta Farmer’s Market lot.
