Time to invest in Atlanta rental properties?

The experts give two BIG thumbs up.

Rental prices are expected to rise nationally by 4.6% in 2013, and that’s following a 4.1% increase in rental rates this year, according to the National Association of REALTORS®.  Reis, a market research firm, expects the trend to continue into 2014 and 2015, with rental prices rising at least 4% a year in 2014 and 2015.  If you have been thinking of investing in Atlanta rental properties, it is a great time to jump on the bandwagon.

Rents are rising even more rapidly in some areas. For example, rental prices in San Jose and San Francisco have been climbing 13 to 15% annual rate.  MPF reports that other metro areas (New York, Denver, Houston, Nashville TN,  and Colomubus OH) that experienced a decline in previous years are watching the rental prices go up, up, up  – many by more than 5%!

Update on Atlanta rental properties

Here in Atlanta, the rental market has remained strong over the last few years and the demand for single family home rentals is increasing every year.  If you are considering investing in your first or 10th rental property, it is a great time to jump in to the Atlanta real estate market before property values increase dramatically.  View all of the potential Atlanta investment properties  (foreclosures and short sales) that are currently for sale in the Atlanta MLS.
