2012 Taste of Chamblee

2012 Taste of ChambleeThere’s so much more than food at the annual Taste of Chamblee event. One of Atlanta’s fastest growing communities, Chamblee is gaining in popularity due to its affordable homes and location inside the perimeter, just up Peachtree from Buckhead and Brookhaven. Due to the growth in area, this year’s event is expected to be the largest ever.

The day kicks off at noon with the first live music performance and the opening of the art walk, beer garden, kids zone and of course, restaurant row, where some of Chamblee’s finest eateries will be offering delicious treats. Participating restaurants include Galla’s Pizza, Newk’s, Olde Blind Dog, Vintage Pizzeria and High Road Craft Ice Cream. At 2pm, you can expect one of the highlights of the day when the antique car show cruises onto the scene featuring classic, antique and modified cars.  There are expected to be at least 50 cars to ogle. Around 6pm, the day’s events will begin to die down and attendees are invited to a musical after-party featuring Martay and the Partay, a fun energetic band that plays covers of all your favorites, plus some originals.

Visit for more details.  Hope to see you there on Saturday, September 15th!
