2012 Reynoldstown Wheelbarrow Festival
The 5K road race that accompanies the festival has people running through the streets of Reynoldstown and Cabbagetown pushing wheelbarrows and bouncing them off of buildings and other surfaces. It’s sure to be a spectacle!
After the race, you can enjoy treat from some of Atlanta’s hippest eateries, including King of Pops, Mix’s Up, The Mobile Marley, Westside Creamery, The Pickle, HomeGrown and more. Last year’s live music stage features acts such as Little Tybee and Young Antiques. Plus, there are tons of local arts and crafts and a Wheelbarrow Jr. Camp for the kids.
The festival takes place all day, from 11am until 11pm, on Saturday, September 8, so you can spend all day or pop in and out. Lang-Carson Park is the center of activities with the festival spreading out through historic Reynoldstown. For more information or to sign up for this wacky 5K, visit www.wheelbarrowfestival.com.
