2012 Chastain Park Arts Festival – Chastain Park Atlanta
Chastain Park is the largest public park in Fulton County and therefore the perfect setting for one of the largest arts festivals in Atlanta. With a focus on local Georgia artists, vendors include painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal workers, jewelers, glass blowers and more.
While many of Atlanta’s neighborhood arts festivals are located in downtown and midtown Atlanta, the Chastain Park Arts Festival is one of the few to take place in North Fulton County / North Buckhead community and it serves the Chastain Park neighborhood, which is one of the most enthusiastic art-buying neighborhoods in metro Atlanta.
In addition to artists’ booths, there will also be live entertainment, artist demonstrations, hands-on activities and of course, standards festival food and drinks. The Chastain Park Arts Festival benefits a scholarship fund for local artists administered by the Georgia Foundation for Public Spaces. The two day event kicks off on Saturday, November 3 at 10am and admission is free. For more information, visit http://www.chastainparkartsfestival.com/Festival.html
